Information for Sponsors

DISC, the International Symposium on Distributed Computing, is an international forum on the theory, design, analysis, implementation, and application of distributed systems and networks.

The conference is organized in cooperation with the European Association for Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS), and together with its sister conference PODC, it is one of the leading conferences in the area. The DISC conference has a long history; it was first organized in 1985, and in 2024 we will have the 38th meeting in the conference series.

The 2024 conference will be organized in an “in-person participation” format, and we hope to attract a record number of participants. We are seeking sponsors who would help us make this a successful event. DISC 2024 will also be an excellent opportunity for companies to connect with the leading researchers working in distributed systems and networks, both in talks sessions and their lively coffee breaks, and in the planned social activities.

Sponsoring for DISC 2024 is organized in four tiers, with the following benefits for the sponsors; we are happy to discuss the details of the implementation of the gold and platinum level benefits:

Logo and name visibility in the
conference web page, online material,
and proceedings
Additional visibility in the opening and
closing ceremony and business meeting
A dedicated channel in the conference’s
online discussion platform that the
sponsor can use e.g. to advertise open
positions and to communicate with
conference participants
An opportunity to organize a short online
event during the conference, e.g., the
sponsor’s presentation over a video
conference platform immediately
following one of the keynote lectures at
the conference
