- Taxis are usually available just outside of the airport arrival terminal. A trip to the Rio Vermelho neighborhood (through the Av. Luis Viana Filho - a.k.a "Av. Paralela") on an authorized taxi (white cars with red and blue stripes and taximeter) will cost approximately 80,00 BRL (Brazilian Real).
You can take regular taxis just outside the arrival terminal, in the second runway/lane toward the parking places (near "Acarajé da Zazá" stand/kiosk).

The first five hotels are in the conference venue neighborhood (walk distance to Pestana).
The last one (Sol Victoria Marina) is around 6 to 8 km from Pestana, but has a special fee for conference attendees.
