If you were forced to cancel your DISC registration for some strong reason that is beyond your control, it is too late to get a refund, you cannot have a colleague traveling to DISC instead of you, and it is also not possible for you to have your DISC registration fee covered by anyone else (e.g. your university or employer, your travel grant, or your travel insurance), you can apply for a DISC Community Grant that can cover the DISC registration fees fully or partially in these cases. To apply for the Community Grant, please write a free-form email to the DISC Steering Committee Chair, who will make the decisions together with the DISC Treasurer. In your application, please include the receipt for DISC registration, and sufficient documentation of your situation (in particular, how you planned to cover the registration fee and why it is not applicable in this case). The grants are subject to the availability of funding.
