The scholarships have already been awarded

If you are a student and you are interested in attending DISC 2009, consider applying for a registration fee waiver. We will be selecting a few students from all applicants.

The procedure to apply is simple. First, we require that you are a student currently enrolled in a graduate program of some university. Second, we need you to send the following documents to disc_2009@ymail.com:

1. Your resume;
2. A letter of recommendation from your advisor or some faculty in an equivalent role;
3. A statement of purpose saying why you believe you'll benefit from attending DISC 2009.

Please send all documents as PDF files, and bundle them with tar (compressed is fine). The final date for receiving applications is Aug. 28, 2009.

If you are applying to this, please register before the early registration deadline, but do not pay until the decision is made (very early September). The early registration fee will be maintained.
