Michel Raynal and Shmuel Zaks Celebration: Sixty and Beyond

In celebration of Michel Raynal  and Shmuel Zaks's sixtieth birthday, DISC 2009  is featuring a series of invited lectures illustrating and celebrating the influence of these colleagues and their work. Michel and Shmuel have worked in distributed computing theory since the beginning of the field in the early 1980's, and played an important role in the development of the field, through their PhD students, organization of conferences, and made contributions on a variety of topics.
