DISC, the International Symposium on Distributed Computing, is an international forum on the theory, design, analysis, implementation, and application of distributed systems and networks.
The conference is organized in cooperation with the European Association for Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS), and together with its sister conference PODC, it is one of the leading conferences in the area. The DISC conference has a long history; it was first organized in 1985, and in 2022 we will already have the 36th meeting in the conference series.
In 2022, the conference will be organized in a hybrid format: both physical and online attendance. We are seeking sponsors who would help us make this a successful event. We aim to provide paid registration for in-person attendees and reduced registration for virtual (off-location) attendees; we hope to attract a record number of participants. We believe DISC 2022 will also be an excellent opportunity for companies to connect with the leading researchers working in distributed systems and networks, both in local social activities and in (many) virtual activities planned.
